Due to the decreasing trend in feed-in tariff (FIT) prices, self-consumption of energy is an increasingly viable option. The increased PV penetration in the distribution grid also leads to changes in the voltage profile on the distribution line, which needs to be regulated. The paper discusses a study where an energy management system (EMS) is implemented for a commercial building in Hanoi after modelling the respective generating units.
