The used white emitter consists of a stacked phosphor of blue-green emitting cerium doped strontium sulfide (SrS:Ce) and orange-red emitting manganese doped zinc sulfide (ZnS:Mn). A filtered blue luminance 50 V above threshold of L50=14 cd/m2 at 60 Hz has been measured using a Fuji Hunt dye filter, resulting in a luminous efficiency of eta =0.13 Im/W. The CIE color coordinates are (x=0.1/ly=0.26).enceriumcolour displayselectroluminescent displayslight sourcesmanganeseoptical filtersstrontium compoundsthin film deviceszinc compoundsthin film electroluminescence devicesbroad band emitting thin film electroluminescent structuresfull color tfel displayswhite emitterstacked phosphorfiltered blue luminancefuji hunt dye filterluminous efficiencycie color coordinates60 hz50 v621High efficiency blue from SrS:Ce/ZnS:Mn 'color by white' thin film electroluminescence devicesconference paper
