Using the Micro Moiré Technique the deformation state of the notch and crack tip region is recorded as interference pattern during an in-situ-deformation. The experiments are carried out in a Scanning Electron Microscope. The experiments are coupled with a finite element analysis (2d and 3d). This method can be applied for various materials. From the analysis crack and fracture parameters can be obtained.enelectron microscopyexperimental mechanicsFEMfracture mechanicsmicro moiré methodmicrodeformation analysis621Evaluation of microdeformations and fracture quantities by means of micro moire methodsconference paper
