To prove or to disprove such claims this article surveys the current state of techniques and methods used in the early phases in Cleanroom from a requirements engineers point of view. The survey is based on a systematically derived characterization scheme which is applied on a set of "published" Cleanroom (requirements-) techniques. The goal of this survey is twofold: First, to provide an overview of the current state in this area of Cleanroom tech niques for practitioners and second, to point out areas where further research is needed.encleanroomrequirements engineeringsoftware engineering004005006Cleanroom Software Engineering: A Requirements Engineer's Viewconference paper
