An agenthas the sovereign control over a flexible device and fulfils individual targets set by itsowner, while following community set targets incentivized by PV asset tokens storedwithin a blockchain. This setup enables the development of a heterogeneous energycommunity. We demonstrate the operation of an exemplary agent for the bidirec-tional control of an electric vehicle and show how the blockchain based incentivescould be implemented in a scenario where a local utility company functions as energycommunity operator. Results show that the decentralized optimization enhances thePV self-consumption within the EC and tokenized PV shares provide a feasible solu-tion for active prosumer participation.enBlockchainDecentralized Energy Systemenergy managementTechnologies for Climate Neutral Districts: Agent Based Energy Management and Blockchain Based Organization for Energy Communitiesbook article
