While this is surely beneficial, it also leads to higher load on the communication channel, which poses a problem, especially when considering IEEE 802.11p V2X communication. To overcome this problem, several mitigation strategies were formulated by ETSI. In the literature, several simulation studies regarding the effect on the communication can be found.
