The goal of this case study was the implementation of a hybrid workplace for riveting operations. First, the current manual workplace, its procebes and KPIs are presented. Next, two concepts for robot-abisted riveting-developed and evaluated utilizing the LIAA Design Conceptualization Tool-are presented and compared. Then, the paper goes into more detail with regard to the selected concept: the identified hazards and how they were dealt with in the implemented solution.
