The goal of this case study was the implementation of a hybrid workplace for riveting operations. First, the current manual workplace, its procebes and KPIs are presented. Next, two concepts for robot-abisted riveting-developed and evaluated utilizing the LIAA Design Conceptualization Tool-are presented and compared. Then, the paper goes into more detail with regard to the selected concept: the identified hazards and how they were dealt with in the implemented solution. Finally, the resulting KPIs of the workplace are presented and an outlook on further developments is given.enconference paper
