Flow behavior and shrinkage was adjusted for a feedstock couple applied in 2C-CIM. The combination of TZ-black and ATZ-2 had compatible sintering behavior and showed good co-sintering results with an intact interface. Tapes used for IML were varied in plasticizer. While glycerin had very good flexibility and deformation properties for embossing, adherence with the feedstock was insufficient and lead to delamination and cracks. PEG tapes were less deformable but compatible with the feedstock binder system so that defect-free two-component parts could be produced. The embossed elevated structures were removed by grinding and revealed the blackwhite pattern.en666Manufacturing of two-colored co-sintered zirconia components by inmold-labelling and 2C-injection moldingjournal article
