Mueller, D.D.MuellerVolk, F.F.VolkHund, M.M.Hund2022-03-082022-03-081987https://publica.fraunhofer.de/handle/publica/302152The proposal relates to igniting agents for propellant charges in the form of a mixture comprising pyrotechnic fuel and cellulose nitrate (NC) whereby a pyrotechnic fuel is used either on the base of B/KNO<3 or Zr/Ba(NO<3) having a metal proportion of 20 q 6 per cent by weight and a nitrate proportion of 40 q 12 per cent by weight, whereby Zr can be fully or partially replaced by ZrH<2, or on the base of Ti/Ba(NO<3) or TiH<x/Ba(NO<3)<2 where X < 1 having a metal or subhydride proportion of 20 q 6 per cent by weight, a nitrate proportion of 40 q 12 per cent by weight at a proportion of NC of 30 q 12 per cent by weight in each case. These ignition agents have low ignition delay times and, in the reaction products, an optimum relationship between hot particles and transport gas, which is decisive for good penetration and direct ignition of propellant charges. In addition, these ignition agents can be processed in extrusion processes.de608660Verfahren zur Herstellung von Anzuendmitteln fuer TreibladungenProcess for the production of igniting agents for propellant chargespatent1982-3243425
