Model-based and optimal control theory is used together with classical gain scheduling in order to obtain an adaptive linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG) controller. Modeling and controller synthesis are complemented by a practical verification of the concept, based on prototype measurements, and with a theoretical analysis of the soft-switching operating region verified by simulation and measurements.en621Model-Based Control of an Inverter for Wide Range Soft-Switching Operationconference paper
