Reuter, T.T.Reuter2022-03-022022-03-021986https://publica.fraunhofer.de/handle/publica/174253The conversion between two television standards with different line rates and different field repetition rates is an example of a two-dimensional sampling rate conversion. The ideal conversion is explained with the aid of a block diagram. The disturbances caused by non-ideal interpolation filters are analyzed in the frequency domain and the possibilities of reducing the degradations are considered. For well known standards converters the frequency response is computed and compared with the ideal response.deconvertorsfiltering and prediction theoryfrequency responsefrequency-domain analysisinterpolationpicture processingtelevision standardsvideo signalstvtelevision standards convertersline ratesfield repetition ratestwo-dimensional sampling rate conversioninterpolation filtersfrequency domain621Investigation of television standards convertersjournal article
