The multi-scale problem consisting of electromagnetic effects in the dimension of microns which influences a power electronic system on macroscopic level has been examined by a coupled simulation approach based on the FEM and PEEC method. Common PEEC approaches have been adapted to highly complex litz wires by enhanced mathematical methods for sparse-matrices. The simulation results have been verified by measurements up to 1 MHz.en670Influence of varying bundle structures on power electronic systems simulated by a coupled approach of FEM and PEECconference paper
