Integrated polarization divers coherent receiver based on polymer PLC with high polarization extinction ratio for 100G ethernet applications

Abstract
A dual-polarization quadrature phase-shift key coherent receiver based on polymer planar lightwave circuit is presented. Polarization beam-splitter, optical 90° hybrids and photodiodes are hybridly integrated on one chip. Basic characteristics of the receiver are given.
