Abstract
The use of digital tools to develop products and production systems is state-of-the-art. The digital models created open new opportunities in the following phase of operation. Digital engineering can be used to furnish work systems with new intelligence, organize manufacturing and logistics systems resource efficiently, and develop new energy and transportation concepts based on convergent infrastructures. This talk presents examples of current research.
