Dedicated R&D cleanroom for the TOP LED technology solutions regarding future solid state lighting devices
Abstract
The production of LED devices are highly sensitive in regard of particle contamination and outgassing residues on optical surfaces. Therefore a clean environment is absolutely necessary. The challenge was to transform a humid basement into a high sophisticated cleanroom environment for the assembly and production of LED devices. Within one year the production had to be rolled out from the beginning of the cleanroom planning until the ramp up of the equipment and the start of the production phase.
