Title

Injection locked laser as wavelength converter and optical regenerator up to 10 Gbit/s

Abstract
Wavelength conversion (32 nm) combined with signal regeneration up to 10 Gbit/s using a two-section injection locked Fabry-Perot laser is reported. This method allows high extinction ratios for both up- and down-conversion and a simple change between non-inverting and inverting operation mode.
