HPM detection system with direction recognition capability
Abstract
High Power Microwaves (HPM), when used at short-to-medium-range distances, are capable of disrupting or even damaging electronic systems in vital stationary infrastructure and vehicles. The Fraunhofer Institute for Technological Trend Analysis INT has continued with the development of an HPM detector and added parallel detection channels to give it a direction recognition capability.
