Modernes Industrial Engineering

Der Begriff Industrial Engineering (kurz IE) wird in Österreich nicht so expressiv verwendet wie beispielsweise in letzter Zeit in Deutschland. Manchmal, und hier scheint es durchaus angebracht, lohnt sich ein Blick über die Grenze ins Nachbarland. Dort hat die Renaissance des lndustrial Engineering (IE) bereits vor einigen Jahren begonnen. Zahlreiche lndustrieunternehmen, Promotoren und Vordenker - wie beispielsweise Prof. Jochen Deuse vom Lehrstuhl für Arbeits- und Produktionssysteme, Prof. Sascha Stowasser vom lfaa (Institut für angewandte Arbeitswissenschaft und besonders die Deutsche MTM-Vereinigung - haben diesen Aufschwung eines modernen, methodenorientierten Zugangs zum Industrial Engineering maßgeblich vorangetrieben. Wo aber findet man modernes IE in Österreich?

The term industrial engineering (IE) is not used in Austria as expressively as it has been recently in Germany, for example. Sometimes, and here it seems appropriate, it's worth taking a look across the border into the neighboring country. There the renaissance of IE started several years ago. Many industrial companies, promoters and progressive thinkers- such as Prof. Jochen Deuse of the Faculty for Labor and Production Systems, Prof. Sascha Stowasser of Ifaa (Institut für angewandte Arbeitswissenschaft) and especially the German MTM Association - have significantly advanced the rise of a modern method-oriented access to Industrial Engineering. But where can one find modern IE in Austria?
