Advanced calculation of static and dynamic stiffness in mechatronic machine tools

Alternative
Verbesserte Berechnung der statischen und dynamischen Steifigkeit von Werkzeugmaschinen
Abstract
Static and dynamic stiffness are essential in machine tool design. Especially for electro-mechanic driven controlled drives, methods for calculating these properties will be discussed. It will be shown how finite element models (FEM-models) can be used for correct calculation of the static stiffness of controlled feed axes without using a mechatronic model. Furthermore it will be shown, how to use a new compact form of mechatronic simulation model for improved determination of static and dynamic stiffness.
