Reconstruction of architectural views by design hypothesis
Abstract
The literature proposes many techniques for reconstructing software architectures. However, there are limited guidelines on when and how to apply these techniques. There is even less information on how to combine them depending on the objectives and the boundary conditions of the reconstruction. This paper presents an approach to create an up-to-date high-level design model of a system and reports on the experience gained by applying this approach in an industrial case study.
