Emissionen der klimarelevanten Spurengase Distickstoffoxid und Methan in der Bundesrepublik

With the support of the German Umweltbundesamt the FhG-ISI investigated - together with other partners - the anthropogenic emissions of the trace gases methane and nitrous oxide in the Federal Republic of Germany. The article describes briefly the influence of these gases on the environment and gives a summary of the present knowledge about the emission sources and a first rough estimation about the emissions in the following fields: waste water cleaning, surface and ground water, mining of coal and oil, distribution of gaseous fuels, combustion of biomass and composting, agriculture and stock-farming.
