Acoustic emission analysis on deep-drawing tools
Abstract
Acceleration sensors which are fitted outside of deep-drawing tools are a rugged sensory mechanism for the pressing technology. By means of Acoustic emission measurement and an adequate processing of signals, a sensory analysis of cracks and wrinkels can be set up for forming tools. The following article describes the possibilities of processing and evaluation of measuring signals.
