CO2-solid electrolyte sensor with screen printing

A potentiometric thick film CO2 sensor was developed by combining a sodium ion conductor like Na-b''-alumina with a measuring electrode consisting of a solid, gas sensitive layer of Na2CO3 and a ref. electrode of SiO2-Na2Si2O5. The sensor's properties are comparable with those of a com. available CO2 sensor module.
