High power 100fs fiber oscillator

Abstract
Scaling of a dissipative-soliton fiber laser to 27W of average power is demonstrated. Based on a large-pitch photonic-crystal fiber, more than 3.2MW of peak power are reached by dechirping the emitted pulses to sub-100fs duration.
