The constanly growing demand on modern structure systems today increasingly cause conventional passive as well as active mechatronic approaches tor reach their technical an economic feasibility limits. Adaptive structure technology, in short adaptronics , is an innovative , new cross sectional technology for the optimazion of structures systems and is included integration by combining conventional structures with active material systems, which extend the classis load- bearing and form-defining structure systems, adaptive structure systems can optimally adapt to their respective operatinal enviroment.
