Information security

Information security becomes a more and more important factor in a modern society. Its main role is to protect electronic information from threats such as loss, manipulation and espionage. The article gives an overview of various IT attacks and counteractions and outlines some actual items, e.g. Trusted computing, Network security, Sender authentication for e-mails and Quantum cryptography.
