Title

Hysteresis Behavior of Continuous-Wave External Cavity Quantum Cascade Lasers

Abstract
We investigate hysteresis of an external-cavity-QCL for variations of resonator length and grating angle. Experimental results are compared with two different theoretical models. Simulations suggest that hysteresis is caused by self-stabilization due to mode coupling.
