Dual DFB for Uncooled 40 Gbps and Cooled 72 Gbps Direct Modulation

Abstract
We present an InP Ridge waveguide O-band Dual DFB for direct modulation applications. This DML operates uncooled up to 40 Gbps and cooled up to 72 Gbps. The Dual DFB utilizes the photon-photon resonance (PPR) to enhance the modulation bandwidth.
