Coating of plastics for optical applications

Coating of plastic optics requires substrate solutions and development of coating systems with multifunctional properties. Such complex coatings can be prepared by ion assisted deposition at low temperature. For PMMA, plasma treatment was applied to improve adhesion of coatings.
