Zur Skalenanalyse von Texturen

Die Skalenanalyse von texturellen Bildern ist ein neuer Zugang zu deren Klassifikation und Segmentation. Ausgehend von den Grundgedanken der fraktalen Geometrie wird ein Verfahren diskutiert, mit dem eine kontinuierliche Skalenanalyse durchgeführt werden kann. Das Verfahren ist derzeit beschränkt auf die Anwendung bei isotropen Texturen. An praktischen Beispielen wird die Leistungsfähigkeit der Methode aufgezeigt. The analysis of the scales of textured images is a promising new way for texture classification and segmentation. Based on the principles of fractal geometry a method is discussed by which the analysis of scales can be performed in a continuous way. The method is restricted in application to isotropic textures. With practical examples the applicability of the method is demonstrated.
