NOVELTY - The temperature compensation circuit has a regulator (24) receiving an output signal from a current detector (22) which measures the drain current of the FET (20), e.g. a dual-gate MOSFET, coupled to the control input (G1) of the latter for regulating the actual drain current, for maintaining the required amplification. USE - For FET amplifier in radio or mobile telephone receiver. ADVANTAGE - The circuit provides improved temperature stability over the full operating range of the amplifier.
