Abstract
The present invention relates to a laser-based apparatus for the non-contact scanning of human eyes and/or animal eyes, particularly of human eyes in vivo, comprising a first laser system (1), which includes an excitation laser (1a) and by which a first exciting laser radiation (1b) can be focused into a first target region (3-1) inside a target volume (3), in which an eye (A) to be examined can be placed and/or is placed, and a second laser system (2), which includes a detection laser (2a) and a detector (2d), with the detection laser of which a second scanning laser radiation (2b) can be irradiated, particularly focused, into a second target region (3-2) inside the target volume (3), and with the detector of which a portion (2c) of the second laser radiation reflected, deflected and/or scattered by the eye that can be placed or is placed in the target volume, particularly the portion of the eye that can be placed or is placed in the second target region (3-2), can be detected.
