Metadata Harvesting
![]()
Fraunhofer-Publica, the reference database of publications from the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft, complies with the metadata harvesting protocol OAI-PMH version 2.0. One can either "harvest" the complete reference database or just its eprints, i.e. fulltext-section. The base URLs for these OAI-PMH requests are publica.fraunhofer.de/oai.har or publica.fraunhofer.de/eprints.har, respectively. Both services are independently registered as data providers with the Open Archive Initiative (OAI).
A maximum of 1,000 records can be retrieved per call and a "resumption token" is provided if the hit count of a query exceeds this number. Thus, the hit list can be completed by including the "resumption token" in succeeding queries.
No data set is defined, and hence the Fraunhofer-Publica can only be regarded as a multidisciplinary technology database.
Output is in the Dublin Core metadata format (oai_dc).
