Titel
Dialogue design and software architecture for efficient development and integration of image processing applications
Abstract
Development and test of image evaluation methods and applying known methods to new application areas are time consuming and cost intensive phases of a project. KIBASX (configurable interactive image evaluation system, based on X Window) allows a more efficient development and integration of image processing applications due to its innovative software architecture and dialogue design. The dialogue design is based on graphical, object oriented operations. System behaviour and screen layout depend on a variable user profile. Using familiar notions and consistent interactive principles facilitate easy and comfortable operation of the system. The integration of new application programs requires little effort, due to the strict separation between dialogue and application programs.
