SYNOPSIS in the new IVECO trucks generation, SMC material has been used for many cab components. The paper deals with the studies results carried out to determine the material fatigue behaviour and the effects produced by some typical environmental conditions such as water and temperature. Furthermore, components durability tests, simulating the final mission, are presented.
