Abstract
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein keramisches Filterelement zur Partikelabtrennung aus heissen Gasen, mit einem lang gestreckten hohlen Grundkoerper aus einem grobporoesen keramischen Material, der eine feinporoese keramische Filterschicht traegt und an einem zur Befestigung an einem Traeger vorgesehenen ersten Ende eine Zugangsoeffnung aufweist, wobei sich die Porositaet des keramischen Grundkoerpers ueber seine fuer die Filterung wirksame axiale Erstreckung kontinuierlich oder in mehreren Stufen aendert. Mit dem vorgeschlagenen Filterelement lassen sich eine gleichmaessigere Abloesung des Filterkuchens bei Beaufschlagung des Filterelementes mit einem Druckimpuls erreichen und die Gefahr einer Beschaedigung durch mechanische Schwingungen vermindern.

 

DE 10108394 A UPAB: 20021031 NOVELTY - The ceramic filter for separation of particles from hot gas flows has a longitudinal hollow body (1) of a ceramic material with coarse pores and a ceramic filter layer (2) with fine pores. An end (3) of the body is secured to a carrier, with an inflow opening (5). The ceramic material of the body has a porosity which varies over the axial effective filtering length, either continuously or in a number of steps. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The ceramic filter has a tubular body open at one end and closed at the other (4). The porosity of the ceramic material increases from the open end to the closed end of the hollow body. The open end of the body is widened (6) for mounting to a carrier. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the cleaning of the ceramic filter, where pressure pulses are applied to the filter layer against the flow direction of the filtrate or a pressure difference is neutralized, to remove deposits. The porosity of the ceramic material is set variably so that the filter layer is cleaned consistently, along its length, by the pressure pulses or the removal of any pressure difference and/or oscillations are reduced between the filter layer and the body. USE - Used as a filter cartridge, for use in power stations, to separate particles from the hot exhaust gas from coal-fired plants. ADVANTAGE - The filter has reduced oscillations when in operation. The filter is cleaned easily and effectively by pressure pulses to detach the caked deposit.
