Verhalten von faserverstärkten Kunststoffen und Abschätzung der Betriebsfestigkeit von Bauteilen
Abstract
The service strength of components produced from fiber reinforced plastics depends on operational stresses and environmental conditions, of which decisive are the temperature and the humidity. The composition and percentage of individual ingredients strongly influence the properties of used material and must be determined by experiments.. The estimation of the component service strength must include three decisive criteria: fatigue life, residual strength and stiffness loss. These criteria depend on each other and are nonlinearly related to the operational loading. Basic data necessary for the evaluation, individual criteria and their relation as well as a new, up to now unpublished general procedure to estimate the structural service strength of such components, are presented.
