Abstract
The invention relates to a process for the reduction of the lead solubility of lead crystal glass by applying a coating, whereby a coating is produced by applying and hardening a coating material consisting of a hydrolytic condensation product made of an interlinked organo-functional silane, a metal compound and an organic prepolymer interlinked with this hydrolytic condensate.
