The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and mechanics and can be applied, for example, to determine the amount of salt placed on the road. The technical problem of the invention, which is to find a process and a device by which a measurement can take place without direct contact and on various substances, is solved by a device which consists of gas and liquid feed lines comprising at least one sensor and at least two nozzles placed in pairs opposite each other, the aperatures of which are placed at an angle of 30 to 60. Moreover, the problem is solved by a process by which a gas or gas-liquid mixture is conveyed through the feed lines and blown out at least at 0.001 s onto a surface on which the measuring substances applied and finally a measurement takes place of the substances by the sensor(s).
