Titel
Transparently insulated walls for buildings of low latitude. A pilot project in Shanghai, China
Abstract
At Shanghai two test-houses were built in 1990 to demonstrate transparently insulated walls (TI walls) as an efficient passive solar component for space heating under the climatic conditions of a site at low latitude. The facade construction was appropriate to the Chinese conditions and built with materials, available at the site. An extensive monitoring will help to analyse performance and solar gains of the TI wall.
