Strukturelle Veränderungen im zementstein während des Hydrationsprozesses

Structural changes in hydration cement pastes during the hydration process
Abstract
The experiments with SANS (Small-Angle Neutron Scattering) were realized at the spectrometer MURN of the FLNP (Frank Laboratory for Neutron Physics) at the JINR in Dubna, Russia. In order to characterize the process of hydration, scattering curves are measured at different time after the beginning of the hydration. Their development can be reduced to microstructural changes within a range of about (1-30) nm. With the help of defined volume concentrations of D20 in the water mixture (H20 and D20) structural components are neutronoptically emphasized out of the minerally polyphasic system of hydrating cement pastes without causing changes in their structure. From the scattering curves, the particle size distribution (PSD) of the microobjects was determined, which faciliates the quantitative description of the processes of the shaping and the changing of structures. In addition, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) was used for the morphological description of typical scattering objects.
