Structures and processes in learning organizations. European experiences
Abstract
The increasing international competition is manifested in a steady growing pressure for improvement. One thing is certain: if one is working in the international competition, one is forced to develop new methods, intellectual approaches and structures in order to ensure and consolidate competitiveness. There is a need for organizational structures that bring into accordance market and technology with the aim to assure a long-range survival and competitiveness of the company. Particularly in the field of organization design there is a high demand for learning structures with decentralized areas of responsibility. In this way, processes of change can be initiated, supported and accelerated, i.e. the change in an enterprise can be formed and lived by innovative learning structures.
