Abstract
The paper summarizes results obtained within the project "Application of Modern Concepts in the Automated Information Management in Harbours by using advanced IT-solutions" (AMCAI). The COPERNICUS 1994 Programme of the European Commission funds the project AMCAI running from 1995 to 1997. The goal of AMCAI was to create an international network of scientists and experts who would co-ordinate research activities aimed at improving the logistic system of the Riga Harbour Container Terminal (RHCT). This paper logically continues the author's previous paper presented at 8th European Simulation Symposium (Novitski et al. 1996)
