Abstract
The spectacular innovation offensive OFFICE 21 from the Fraunhofer IAO, in cooperation with renowned partners from the industry and service sectors of different branches, aims to forecast the office of the future, to develop future scenarios of possible ways of working and to test them within the framework of a future laboratory for the office world. The OFFICE 21 Scenario-methodology is based on model-based and intuitive logic. Succinct scenarios have been developed for the partial scenario fields and been bundled into global OFFICE 21 scenarios. A Delphi-survey will then establish the realization probabilities of the individual scenarios. At the scenario-transfer, future-robust strategies will be derived from scenario-specific chance or risk profiles. The results obtained in this way will be consequently used with the determined quantifiable and qualitative trends within the OFFICE 21 monitoring system.
