A review with refs. presents safety analyses on substances with potential to explode . Safety analyses were performed on the examples of metalorg. compds. as potential explosives. The decompn. of Al(t-Bu)3 was modeled with considerations to chem. and phys. properties of the compd. and its behavior under pressure. The max. pressure stress for high-pressure reactors was simulated for adiabatic and non-adiabatic decompn. on the example of In(CH3)3. Measures for the prevention of the release of explosive gases were discussed and the explosion of gas was studied on the example of the explosion of a 125 L H2 vessel.
