Abstract
Automatic-gain-control (AGC), transimpedance, and limiting amplifiers are key elements in optical-fiber links and measuring equipment. An AGC amplifier operating up to 13Gb/s, a transimpedance amplifier up to 19GHz with a gain of 38dB Omega, and a limiting amplifier up to 17GHz with a gain of 21dB based on various kinds of device technologyare described in References 1, 2, and 3.
