3D magic-echo phase-encoding solid imaging
Abstract
The extension of the 2D magic-echo phase-encoding solid imaging (MEPSI) technique to three dimensions is reported. The technique is based on a pulse train producing the magic echo, which, in principle, allows complete refocusing of coherences. During the free-evolution intervals of the sequence, phase-encoding gradients in all three dimensions are applied. Test experiments show that 3D images of rigid solids of high quality and without distortions can be obtained by this method.
