Abstract
We present a comparative study of Bloch oscillations in InGaAsP/InGaAsP and GaAs/AlGaAs superlattices by different optical techniques. The visibility of Bloch oscillations in InGaAsP/InGaAsP is realized by nonlinear absorption change based on the superposition of electronic wavefunctions in Wannier-Stark (WS) states. The wavefunction coupling of WS states and a strongly localized boundary well state is observed in a specific InGaAsP/InGaAsP sample, and the results are compared with the data obtained in a typical GaAs/AlGaAs superlattice.
