Titel
An object oriented divide-and-computer approach for modelling control logic in logistic systems
Abstract
This paper will focus on the problems encountered in modelling and simulation of control logic in logistic systems. Control logic embedded into the (physical) building blocks forces the simulationist to either use a large variety of elements, modify existing ones or worst of all to add code to the simulator itself. In the course of developing a new simulation tool new concepts were introduced. Distinguishing physical and logical model elements as one of these new concepts leads to the problems and their solutions dealt with in this paper. This paper will show up a solution enabling us to split control logic into small reusable parts which are stored in libraries. Utilization of the object oriented paradigm further enhances the concept to allow construction of generic control elements with a still higher degree of reusability.
