Titel
Nondestructive evaluation of ceramic and metallic components by photoacoustic microscopy
Abstract
In recent years photoacoustic microscopy (PAM) has been developed as a laboratory instrument for the nondestructive examination of surface and sub-surface features of opaque solids. In order to test the viability of this technique for practical applications, we used this technique to investigate metals, technical ceramics, and the bonding of thin layers.
